Weaving on a low warp loom
Weaving on a low warp loom

Work always starts by preparing the cartoon and selecting the wools, then there is the hand-colouring of the wools in the waters of the Creuse, whose purity has established the reputation of Aubusson dyers.

The variety of production techniques and the personal touch given by each craftsman contributes to producing a work of art, in fact a unique work in the history of its creation :

Tapestries and carpets handwoven on a lower warp loom
Savonnerie carpets knotted by hand on the upper warp.
       Hand-sewn tufted tapestries and carpets

Our know-how, so prestigious is the secret of "Fleshmakers", a sagacious alchemy of woollen and silken threads/strands, of gold or silver.  Handed down by generations of Master weavers, we are able to weave portraits with refinement and realism close to perfection.

We also master unparalleled know-how in the processing of series of crafted replicas, be they woven or dyed into the core of the virgin wool :

         Tapestries woven on Jacquard looms
         Tapestries using the silkscreen
